This means that when you jump out to the side you will do a Krumphau exactly as
before, but instead of trying to hit your opponent’s hands you will strike his blade
to bind it (since he’s cutting on an angle you will hit the flat of his blade).

Hugh then uses a push-pull motion of his hands, augmented by hip rotation and by
lifting his hands, to cut up into Matthew’s head with an Unterhau using the short
edge of his sword (figure 4).
